Now, I normally don’t pass along political things, but this happened at my school. Police pepper sprayed, point blank in the face, students who were peacefully sitting on the ground, linking arms, and not moving as well as throwing and clubbing some students. It’s ridiculous and it makes me upset. Pass the video along and get knowledge of this brutal use of force on peaceful protestors— we could use more people at Occupy UC Davis.

This is my 3,000th post! Guys, thanks so much for following me, roleplaying with me, and basically, pulling me into a fandom that I have no idea would yield such beautiful and amazing friendships. I’m glad to have met all of you and I know there are people out there yet to meet and talk to. Thank you. All 163 of you.

Thank you.

Oh? You give me much hope, then.

The Jotnar are simply no longer monsters to me. I do not think of them often, Loki.

Too much, I think, yet I will not take back my words.

Years of battling Jotunns and watching them die by your hand, laughing the whole time, and but a few minutes on the icy realm can sway your opinion? Tell me— is the king that charismatic, or was it his good looks that got to you, my shallow friend?

My friend, in battle, matters are different. Be it the Jotnar or the fair elves, if they were to ever draw their weapon against me or those that lead me into battle, I will do my very best to defend and slay them for the simple fact that they are my enemy.

And it is not the king that sways me, but the Jotnar I know and what you tried to do to Jotunheim that has convinced me to view them not as monsters, but as a race of people. You are hardly the only frost giant of my acquaintance, Loki, you forget that Lady Skadi, for instance, is one.

Aye. Skadi. There is no love lost between the two of us.

And I regret missing them, especially the carnal perversion. It would be a sight to admire.

You know it is difficult for me to feel any of those things, but I you have come close to making me hate you on several occasions. I will endeavour not to meet your expectation on the matter, though.

You have seen it once in your life, when mead loosened my tongue and my pants, was that not enough for you?

Simply because I expect you to hate me, you will not. What rebellion you have in your pretty little head. I fully expect a diatribe against “the blue people” as you called them when young, again.

I’m afraid I do not recall that incident with as much clarity as I would like. I would welcome another opportunity.

I am not that young and naive anymore, Loki. What happened to Jotunheim has change my opinion for the better.

Perhaps another time when I find my bed empty, Fandral. It’s not a no.

Has it? What think you of Jotunns, then?
